TRAINING:
All of our Guided Tours and Rental Packages include mandatory training (in addition to tour and rental times) and we provide helmets. Your safety and enjoyment is our first concern.
PLEASE BE ON TIME! LATE ARRIVALS MAY RESULT IN SHORTENED TOUR AND RENTAL TIMES!
TOUR RESERVATIONS
Tour reservations are made directly with the Museum of Science. Purchase online, at the Museum box office, or call 617-723-2500.
RENTAL RESERVATIONS
Currently, all rental reservations are made with our reservation office at 510 Kendall Street, Cambridge. Call 617.225.0002 for more information.
To participate in our Segway Authorized Guided Tours, Tour Riders:

Must be at least 14 years of age

Riders under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian on the tour who co-signs the Contract and Release Agreement
To participate in our Segway Authorized Rental Program, Riders:

Must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver's license and major credit card
-
No Renters under 21 without legal guardian over the age of 21 to co-sign the Release Agreement, who holds a valid drivers license and major credit card, and is also renting a unit

No Renters under the age of 16
All Tour Riders and Renters:
-
Minimum weight of 100lbs

Maximum weight 260lbs
-
No expectant women
-
Will be required to wear a helmet

Use of cell phone, texting and MP3 players will not be allowed

No smoking, No alcohol
Segway of Boston suggests the following for your comfort and enjoyment:

Wear proper attire, no high heels, no bare feet, flip flops are NOT recommended

Comfortable shoes
-
No scarves or such clothing that may impede your safety while using the Segway PT

No shoulder bags (purses, etc) will be permitted, only across the body straps (messenger style)

Dress weather appropriate, including sunscreen and/or gloves in chilly weather

Hats and baseball caps will have to be removed as all riders are required to wear provided helmets
Use the following guidelines to determine whether you will be able to meet the physical requirements necessary to operate a Segway PT safely:

Must be able to step on and off the Segway without assistance, which has an 8 inch step height and which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without the support of a handrail or other walking aid

Must be able to stand for designated periods of time, taking into consideration the duration of the tour or rental you are selecting
Cancellation & Refund Policies:
There are no refunds. All sales are final.
If a cancellation occurs due to weather or discretionary reasons, you will be allowed to reschedule.
Discretionary:
If Segway of Boston deems a rider cannot safely operate the Segway PT, a full refund will be provided to that rider and members of their party who choose to cancel as a result.
PARKING FOR SEGWAY OF BOSTON, 510 KENDALL STREET, CAMBRIDGE:
There is no parking at our facility. However, the Kendall Square South Garage is located at 350 Kendall Street. Please visit www.pilgrimparking.com/facilities/kendall_sq for rates & directions.
We are also a 3 minute walk from the Kendall/MIT stop off the MBTA Red Line.
